CE Convention 2025 | Saved to Serve
The 110th Irish National Christian Endeavour Convention will be held on Saturday 20th September 2025, at 7.30 pm, in Ballygawley Presbyterian Church, BT70 2LJ.
The Revd Jonathan Boyd will speak on the theme, “Saved to Serve”. Jonathan, who has been minister of Ballygawley and Ballyreagh Presbyterian Churches for the past five years is married to Tania, and they have four children Phoebe, Finlay, Flynn and Philip.
He enjoys a good coffee in the morning, supports Manchester United and enjoys painting miniature models.
His experience of Christian Endeavour began at a young age. He grew up in Kells, County Antrim where he was a member of the local Presbyterian Church and attended both the Junior and Senior CE Societies there. The leaders and the discipline of chain prayer and Bible study were vital in his early discipleship. He has remarked on how CE has helped him develop skills that are vital for his walk with the Lord and the work of ministry.
Having grown up in a Church that sprung from the 1859 Revival, he has a real heart to see the Lord once again pour out His Holy Spirit and revive our Nation. Jonathan has said that that begins, as it always has, in the House of the Lord with His people, turning to Him and His Word with a zeal to be shaped, moulded and changed by Him. Just as Peter proclaimed in Acts 3:19-20, “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord’”.
Everyone is warmly invited and will be made most welcome.
