Reach Mentoring

REACH, based in Lurgan and working in the Craigavon, Armagh and Banbridge areas, work alongside local schools to provide volunteer mentors to young people who are in need of additional support.

As many of you will remember, we supported Reach Mentoring as our Missionary Project in 2019-20. However, that was the year that things changed very suddenly in March 2020 and we were not able to give the Missionary Project the support that we would have liked. As a result, we are revisiting Reach Mentoring again this year for our Missionary Project.

Reach Mentoring have produced packs to use with your CE groups – these will be either been posted or emailed to CE leaders, and are also available to download on the CE website. They cover 5 themes – Life is a Journey, It’s Good to Talk, The Best Version of You, Resilience and Failure – all issues that are very relevant to our children and young people.

There are lesson plans, worksheets and PowerPoint resources for you to use with your CE groups as you see fit. Each lesson includes games, Bible stories, activities, a memory verse and a link to the work of Reach Mentoring. Please do make use of these in your CE groups.

If you would like someone from Reach to come and speak to your CE group, please contact Daniel Wright on 07926519117 or daniel@reachmentoring.co.uk
